As my last remaining deviation states, I won't be sticking around on DeviantArt anymore. I know my activity dwindled in general over the past few years, but I at least wanted to keep a gallery of all the works I've done from my high school years and beyond. Not anymore. There's a lot that kept me frustrated anytime I visited the site, but I'll spare you all those unnecessary details. The straw that broke the camel's back is simply DA's stance on AI "art". Creatives have been dealing with one blow after another since NFTs took the spotlight and we seem to get beaten down more and more with fighting social media algorithms, websites being destroyed from the inside causing us to flee elsewhere, forced corporate censorship, and all the usual ways we've been getting screwed over in the past. Now we have computers stealing and meshing together images that rightfully belong to other artists and being passed off as someone else's and DeviantArt has the GALL to not only support this

Tbh I clicked my DA tab on accident and saw they rolled out some big changes. It's actually pretty nice now. I stopped uploading due to lack of traffic since I swapped fandoms, but since I still get notifs every once in a while I may as well upload stuff... plus I need a better gallery now that I can't go to Tumblr anymore. Sorry in advance for inbox flood as I play catch-up! Also, I do have headshot commissions open, but I don't like how the tab for DA only seems to let me pick points?? Anyway, more on that here. Edit: Forgot to mention I did a big overhaul on my gallery. Deleted a ton of shit and fixed up my page to make it look nice. If y'all forgot, I had the icon of beta!N stretching panties.
